CRPE is planning to offer a series of Guidance Workshops for graduate engineers currently undergoing pre-Registration Training in the following core competency areas:
- Engineering Fundamentals (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc)
- Project management and Cost control
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Environmental management
- Communication and IT skills
- Leadership and Supervision
- Ethics, Code of Conduct
- CPD
- Standards, Codes of Practice
The duration of the Guidance workshops will be either full day or half day depending on the topic.
The aims of the Guidance Workshop will be to arouse the interest of participants in solving practical engineering problems relevant to their field and also to better prepare them for their eventual professional assessment.
Experienced Practicing Engineers who wish to provide the training services are kindly invited to register themselves by 15th April 2024 by emailing their applications on admin@crpemauritius.com.
Selection of Trainers will be based on:
- Practical Experience of trainers
- Quality of Power Point presentations
- Quality and relevance of Case studies and questions answered
- Quality of handouts.
It is proposed that for a full-day training, the fees payable will be Rs30,000/- which may be shared pro-rate if there is more than one trainer.
