FREE GUIDANCE WORKSHOP No 2 ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH for TRAINEE ENGINEERS

Further to first Guidance Workshop offered on 30 June 2023 which was attended by 54 Trainee Engineers at Le Caudan Workspace, CRPE is pleased to host a second FREE Guidance Workshop on the same topic

Venue:        ITIL Training Centre, 21 Lees Street, Curepipe

Date:           Wednesday 17th April, 2024

Time:                    08.45 – 15.45 hrs

The last date for confirming participation by email (admin@crpemauritius.com) is Tuesday 16th April 2024.

Participants will be limited to a maximum of 25 persons and will be a first come basis.

Light refreshments will be provided to participants.

Certificates of attendance will be given to participants at the end of the Workshop

Below is the brief contents of the workshop:

  1. Importance of Occupational Safety and Health (facts, figures)
  2. Occupational Safety and Health Legislation and Framework
  3. Safety and Health Management Systems
  4. The Important role of Engineers in maintaining a good HS standard.
  5. Important HS documents that should be kept
  6. Important HS arrangement and procedures
  7. Importance of HS Training
  8. Importance of effective communication

The workshop will make ample use of case studies and facts to convince the engineers of how they can contribute enormously in enhancing HS standards.

The Trainers are all highly experienced Chartered Engineers and Chartered Safety & Health Practitioners.
